In case you didn't hear, last weekend was the International Beard and Moustache Championships. It's only held every other year and this year it happened to be in the town right next to us in Leinfelden. Opportunities like this don't come along that often, so we had to go and see what it was all about. I'd seen some photos online and it looked amazing, and once we arrived we were not disappointed! No wonder it's only every two years, some of those beards were ridiculously long and must take a while to grow out. The event attracted people from all over the world. Biergarten Bike Ride Through the Forest

I decided to organize a biergarten (beer garden) bike tour through the woods last weekend. Since we have seven beer gardens along the trails in the woods behind our place, I thought it would be really fun to get a big group of friends and make our way to all of them for a day! We live near an S-Bahn (train station) as well so people could hop on the train with their bikes and get here somewhat easily.
