A fall evening in Tübingen

Here are some photos I took the other night in Tübingen. I love this town for so many reasons. It’s so picturesque, you can take a gondola style boat ride through the town or walk the pedestrian area in the cobblestone streets. it’s also a college town as well which means everything is about half the price of what you would pay in Stuttgart. They even offer food and drink specials on the weekends. We were at a tucked away crepe restaurant that had all drinks on special  for 4.50 from 6-10 on Saturdays. That is unheard of in Stuttgart! Here are a few photos from the other night.

I have a funny story about the eis cafe in the photo. My wife and I were sitting at an outside table in late spring when my wife’s eyes popped. I turned to see what she was staring at and a young man walked by with nothing on but sandals. My wife asked the waiter if this was normal behavior, and he said no he will be arrested. Must have been dare.

Hah, I bet that made for a more interesting night, maybe it was a college dare? Thanks for sharing!
