Last weekend for Thanksgiving we had a few exciting things on the agenda, Christmas markets and beer. We went to my favorite, the Esslingen Christmas Market, on Friday and then did a beer tasting at an Irish Pub on Saturday. The beer tasting wasn’t a tasting so much as drinking 5 different beers, all good by the way!

There’s a medieval mood with the decorations and actors all around the market.

Glühwein!

And below we had our friends adorable puppy along to hang out with us.

Then on to the beer tasting. It was a private event at the pub only open to ticket holders. I was having too much fun tasting the beers so I didn’t take many photos. But the beers were really delicious, even the IPA that I normally find too hoppy was quite tasty and didn’t have the normal bite I expect. We heard tales about the beers told in an Irish accent, which always makes things more fun.

Ciao for now!
