Tübingen Germany - My Favorite Town in Southern Germany

I've posted about Tübingen numerous times. I am unequivocally in love with this place. It's so damn romantic and pretty. It has everything you could want; the college town setting along the beautiful Neckar River, those cobblestone streets I can't get enough of, the general atmosphere of the place. It's a bit sleepy but also lively when you want it to be. Oh and prices are so incredibly cheap compared to Stuttgart and both are equal distance from our house.  It's a no-brainer really. A few months back I took some photos and forgot about them until now. Here are a few more from my favorite town in Southern Germany.

This aisle lining of trees runs along a small island that splits the Neckar briefly. Someone told me a king once built the island for his wife. I'm not sure if it's true but it's a nice thought.

This little guy kept following me around

I've photographed this many times. It's nearly impossible not to stop and take a photo every time I walk by.

From the square in the center of town (shown above) you can head up the hill. At the top is a castle like entrance and a university building with great views overlooking the town and beyond.

The winding of these vines and flowers weaves through many houses

Thanks for stopping by!
